What is Die Struck?
Die struck is the exact same as soft enamel without the enamel. A die is made that is then used to stamp a design out of a thin sheet of metal. The stamped piece has raised and recessed areas and is then plated either gold or silver to create a finished die struck pin. Often the recessed area is sandblasted to give contrast between the raised and recessed areas.
Why Choose Die struck?
If you want an all metal pin with no enamel color die struck is the best choice. Die struck lapel pins are the same price as soft enamel pins and considered the least expensive pin but still provide a good quality pin. Die struck pins are subtle, classy, clean so could be used as a professional, jewelry quality piece.
