What is Photodome ?

Photodome is our trade name for printed pins, also called offset printed pins.  Sometimes your design is not compatible with the enamel process.  The photodome process is a great alternative.  The design is printed on vinyl and then affixed to a flat piece of metal (either gold or silver in color). A protective clear acrylic dome is put on top of the image to protect it.  One unique aspect to our photodome pins is we use special blend of acrylic that will not yellow over time.  Most companies use epoxy which tends to yellow over time.  Our Photodome pins are made right here in Utah which provide flexibility in manufacturing and delivery to meet your tight deadlines.  We work with certain stock shapes; most designs can be adapted to one of these stock shapes.  See the images displayed below to choose the size that best meets your needs.

Photodome pins are an excellent choice if:

     · your original art has color gradients – (ex:  color bleeds from blue to white) or
     · you do not wish to have the thin metal lines separating the colors and text or
     · you need to have a quality pin in a short period of time. Our photo-dome pins can be made and shipped in as little as 2-4 days.

We take an exact image of your art (if you don't have art we'll create it for you) and print using a state-of-the-art digital printer. The art is printed on vinyl. These images are then put on the metal pins by hand.  We then apply an acrylic dome and cure the acrylic.
