Pin Pros Quality Coins
Pin Pros quality coins are custom designed and made, die-struck in copper. They are offered in a variety of shapes, sizes, and degrees of relief. Our coins have been used by public safety, military, and corporate groups to present as awards, to celebrate an event, to build moral, and to act as group identifiers. Whichever way you utilize our coins, they are sure to represent a product you will be proud to showcase.
We offer coins in either hard enamel or soft enamel.
Hard Enamel
Hard enamel is very similar production to traditional cloisonné except that a special resin is utilized to provide colors. This allows the ability to match all colors. This process also does not require an epoxy dome for protection as the surface is hand polished to the same level as the raised metal. Hard enamel is recommended for best quality for small details. Metal borders trap each color.
Soft Enamel
The soft enamel process uses a die-struck metal the same thickness as used for hard enamel. The same recessed areas with metal borders are hand color filled with soft enamel resin then baked to harden. The surface has recessed areas and epoxy domes can be added to protect and finish the surface color. Color matching is available.
