Photo-Dome Lapel Pins

Photo-dome lapel pins can be made and shipped in as little as 2-4 days. Photo-dome pins are an excellent choice if your original art has color gradients or, you do not wish to have the thin metal lines separating the colors and text or if you need to have a quality pin in a shorter period of time. Our photo-dome pins can be made and shipped in as little as 2-4 days. We take an exact image of your art (if you don't have art we'll create it for you) and print using a state-of-the-art digital printer. The art is printed on vinyl, mylar or other substrates. These images are then put on the metal pins by hand. It's possible there may be a slight uneven edge on one or two sides but this is usually less than 1/64-inch and usually not noticeable.We then apply an acrylic dome and cure the acrylic. Other companies use epoxy because it's cheaper. However, epoxy will yellow after a few years. Our acrylic will not yellow. Photo-Dome Pin Pricing
Photo-dome is another alternative when the enamel fill process is not compatible with the pin design. The design is printed on paper and the paper is affixed to a flat piece of metal. A protective acrylic dome is put on top of the image to protect it. Photo-dome pins are no longer cheap looking. If your art has color gradients, the only way these can be made into lapel pins is with the photo-dome process.
